The primary personal information collected through this site is your email address, when you voluntarily submit it through the “Get The Desk by email” signup form.
If you contact the site operator by email, the content of that message and your email address are also received in the ordinary course of correspondence.
Like most websites, hosting and security providers may automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. That data is used for site operation and security, not for marketing sale of personal profiles.
How we use your information
Email addresses collected through the signup form are used only to send The Desk updates — messages from Matthew Cone about SBISD, Harris County, and local government transparency.
We do not use signup emails for unrelated advertising campaigns or third-party marketing lists operated by this site.
